ZENRITUAL: Reviving the Lost Origin of Matcha

Long before matcha became a global ritual, its essence was born in the misty mountains of Hangzhou, China—where 12th-century Zen monks perfected whisking powdered tea. Japanese monk Eisai later carried this craft to Kyoto, shaping the matcha tradition we know today.

Now, we return to this sacred birthplace in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Tianmu Mountain, at the same latitude as Uji, Japan (30°N). Nourished by ancient volcanic soil and bamboo-filtered springs, we cultivate matcha unlike any other.

This is not just matcha—It’s the origin, reawakened.

Experience the terroir where matcha began, and savor the true art of tea.
